The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education Professional Student Exchange Program enables students in 11 western states to enroll, and pay reduced tuition, in selected out-of-state professional healthcare programs that are not available at one of their in-state public institutions. Utah participates in the optometry and podiatry programs.
